Where flowers bloom, where love grows. -My thoughts about love are growing.

My thoughts about love are finally growing, it’s finally maturing, and it’s finally taking its own path, making its own backyard.

Love is such a wonderful four letter word. But I have also come to realize that, with that four letter word another four letter words could sprout—Fear, Lust, Risk, Dare, Hurt, Care, Wait, Last, Like, Give, Hope and Many More. It’s like a mother giving birth to its children.

I love the idea of getting the love from watching movies, series or dramas. It feeds my mind to hope for something like that to happen to me. To make me believe that I can have someone like John Cusack in Serendipity, believing in fate, believing in destiny or just like every character of Ryan Gosling in a romantic film making you, making us want to love.

But somehow, I’ve come to realize, that these whole things of loving someone or just the word love itself is a tough one to catch. It’s a closed ring, between you and that ‘love’. You’ll be fighting one on one, blood by blood, and the winner takes it all.

I fell in love and it was a tough one.  I have learned so many things from it and from that kind of love I have experienced; I started to know what I wanted.

I want someone who can admire the less obvious in me, the one who can see deep inside of my smiling face, of my laughing dance or my crying eyes. I wanted a love that can see my reflections, someone that can’t judge me for my mistakes or failures or someone that can’t define me because of my wrong doings.

I want someone who can look me in the eyes so deep that it’ll bother for a moment but I can gaze back through him and everything around us will just be a blur.  I want someone whom I can dance in the kitchen while cooking or baking, someone who can dance with me in the rain or tag along with our favorite indie music.

Someone who can see me not wearing any fancy clothes or make-ups, but still see something in me that’s worth like the Heart of the Ocean. Someone who can be crazy with me at all times, the same wavelength I had. It’s like we are playing mind games but no one will win because both of us will get it.

I pray for someone who can make a song for me, not really making an original song but making a song his own song for me, owning it, that whenever I heard that song playing wherever I am, he’s the only one I can always think about.

Someone who can travel with me and be adventurous. Someone that can dream with me while gazing through the stars. Someone who can sip coffee with me in the morning and someone who can drink wine with me in the evening. Someone who is ready to learn new things with me. I water you, you water me, so we grow together. Someone I can lean on, happy or sad moments. Someone I can trust my life with it. Someone who never let go, someone who never leaves. Someone who will hold you until you fell asleep from crying. Someone who can laugh at your silly jokes. Someone who is honest.

Someone that is really meant for you.

Someone I can be with to pray every time.

Most of all, a person that I can also be that ‘someone’ to him.

Or maybe, just someone who can love me.

There's no harm in praying for someone like that to come into your life anyway. Who doesn't? Love makes you feel like a romantic writer anyway.

     **To the guy I’ve known for so long, who suddenly become my best friend, my super bud, my food buddy and my confidante, partners in crime for life right? Thanks for being with me all the time you never know how much I appreciate this kind of friendship that we have. It isn’t for just a good time, I know. It feels so easy to talk about anything with you and it feels so safe to share about my problems with you without being judged. I can get the most exact comments from you, no filter, no sugar coating of words, you just say the exact truth. We laugh at the most bizarre things, we act like brothers, we share the common grounds and I thank heavens for sending me a friend like you. No drama.

**To the guy I’ve already forgiven, now. Now is the time I guess, to fill my heart with forgiveness. I will never forget of course, but surely I can forgive you. I don’t want to dwell in that gloomy past. I love myself so I am forgiving you.

**To the guy I’ve met in a deserted lane. We’ve crossed the same path, made a quick glance to one another, held hands but eventually didn’t stay for too long, it’s okay. We didn’t push ourselves too hard. Maybe it’s right, it feels okay but not right for too long. It just happened that we’re walking on that lane for the same day, but have different journeys to take.

**To the guy I’ve hoped. I still didn’t get the chance to meet you or maybe I already did? I don’t know. Maybe we already crossed the path, tend to look on each other but never said anything. I’m wondering what kind of lesson I might get from you. But surely, we’ll know each other.

**To the guy I gave nothing but heartaches. I am deeply sorry. You met me at my worst, where all things just go wrong in my mind, where I can’t think straight, where my only concern is my well being. You love me but all I did was to break your heart. You’ll always be a part of my life, strange as it seems, I learned a lot from you.  Selfish to realize but yes, someone can love me and can offer his whole Universe.  Thank you and sorry, I know you’re doing well now and I wish you well.

**To the guy who crossed my path for a thousand times, I guess you’re free now. I can’t say more, cause all my letters in the past were always about you. So I’ll just stop here for good.

** To the guy, I’m giving my heart, please take care of it. Please have patience with it, please have it for a lifetime. Let’s be psychos, weirdos and crazy together. I can’t wait for the moment when the both of us are just two individuals, watching the sunset, watching the rain from outside, sipping coffee, reading books, going anywhere or nowhere, watching movies (Either X-men or Before sunset will do), telling our stories, fighting to worthless or significant topics we will encounter, or maybe just being us, just two individuals with the same insights and feelings. Let it be like an indie song.

I hate it when I ask you “what are you thinking?” Then you’ll say nothing, even though there is. It makes me wanted to wonder in your world.

I hate it when you lie or whenever I felt that you’re lying. I honestly wanted to know all the details, big or small.

I hate it when you take 5 cigs a day (or more) or get drunk on evenings. I am concern about your health, I wanted to be with you for the longest time, because we have so much things to do.

I hate it when you look at me & I’ll ask you “Why?” then you’ll say nothing. If you wanted to tell me I am beautiful or if you love me, or if there’s a dirt on my face, please tell me. I wanted to hear it from you.

I hate it when you accidentally steps on my foot or trip. I walk fast remember? So why?

I hate it when you fall asleep & forget to text me good night. I know you’re tired, but please before going to sleep, send me a good night message, when the night comes, I wanted my last text message would be coming from you.

I hate it when you sip your drink louder. It’s kinda cute, but others are looking. But it’s you, so it’s okay anyway.

I love it when you touch my cheeks, chin, ears & back. It’s like you’re playing with my sensation.

Why we keep on coming back?

Dear _____,

I have a song for you.

“True love they use to say won’t leave you astray, but hey babe we can start all over again, we’re going home”. There may be a hundred reasons why we failed in the first try, a hundred reasons why we broke up, a hundred reasons why we decided and called it quits. But if there’s one reason why we always wanted to come back, maybe that reason is too strong compared to the hundred reasons why we grow apart. That one reason maybe could bring us back together again. To start again, to add it in our memories, that time we might grow together again.

But people don’t always get lucky. Not all of us can get a second, third or fourth chances in lives. So when we have it, when we are able to grab those chances, we should keep it as an air in our lungs. Treasure it and don’t ever waste it.

Given us the familiarity, that certain voice or feelings, we should keep it alive. We should bury it in our hearts; no one can steal it, trust me it’s ours. 

This should be kept a worthwhile memory.

A letter from the girl about celebrating V-day in two special ways

                You did two things for me.

The guy I dated last Valentine’s Day was from the same school I attended. He was the guy that every cheerleader’s cheering for, he was the guy that every guy’s friend would love to hang out to, because he’s simple and yet funny. He was the guy who kept his intelligence by himself and I know that because once, we’ve competed in a home economics test.  He may be sometimes getting a lot too serious about business matters but one day along the hallway I saw him smile. That was the day I thought that this guy might be my future. I know I get too fast and that’s not right, but one thing I know that the cupid thing was right. I am finally feeling the fast beating of my heart.

                Summer came along and I can’t remember how happy I am, because on summer camping, there he was, the guy who wears a simple t-shirt but look so handsome and the smile that can lift up even the heavy boxes. I am truly into him. The rest of the summer stories were a history. We didn’t talk, we didn’t hang out, but at least we know each other’s by name. And at that one shot of the night, he asked my number.

                If you watch too many movies, I bet you know what happened next. Valentine’s Day: I wear red dress, do my simple make-up trick and just lay back my long hair. Once upon time we thought we were lovers, we thought that everything was magical and alright. That was the first V-day I had with him and that is the good one.

                The second and maybe should I called the last V-day I celebrated it with him was the day I finally had to let go of him. It was hard and it was awful, I thought it was the end. I thought that celebrating that event is very stupid.

Until once upon a time again… while walking alone and celebrating V-day, crying. Someone offered me a bouquet of roses and there was the guy in the camp, the other guy I barely know but knows a lot of me. The other guy who always watched me, the other guy who was a friend with the g guy who left me, the other guy who got my number. He was that… guy and from that special day I didn’t walk alone.

Dear Pope Francis,

            Viva Il Papa! Bienvenido!

 I don’t know how to speak in Latin but let me use my deepest language came from my soul to Thank you Pope Francis! You are so humble and genuine, though you are the highest leader of the Catholic church, still you showed mercy, you showed love from every Filipino, you showed hope, but most of all, you lift our spirits to know, to love and to trust again. You let us know that no matter what, Jesus Christ is always with us! That he loves us, no matter what position, no matter what status we are in.  Thank you for your concern, for the love, and for believing that we Filipinos can stand because we are always loved by our Heavenly Father.

            So for my greatest appreciation for you Pope, here are the words that touch our souls.

-“I’m here to be with you,” he said. “A little bit late, I have to say. But I’m here. I’ve come to tell you that Jesus is Lord. That Jesus never lets us down.”

-          What else can you do once a guy outside your window brings some boom box and let the beat goes on? What else? Doesn’t the beat goes the same as your heart beat? Why not? It’s a classic gesture and teenagers mostly find it ‘ewww’ but what else can you missed with this kind of thing for love? It’s simple as sweet and it designates just how much you love your partner. Additional for the perfect music and that’s it. Plus, why not look up for the hottie John Cusack? WE MELT.

12. Singing in the open field (From the Movie ’10 things I hate about you’)

-          “You’re just too good to be true, can’t take my eyes off you, you feel like heaven to touch all I wanna hold you so much”…. Definitely one of the sweetest gestures of all. I mean how can you not say no to a guy who’s going to sing ‘Can’t take my eyes off you’ and sways and moves like a pro with some help from the band? And how can you not pee in your pants? Oh yeah well, it’s because of the late Heath Ledger and his curly long hair. I Missed that though. Well, it’s a great gesture to do and surprise your partner. You’ll find out that you have an inner sway, moves and a hot voice to sing this to him/her.

    

3.       Draw your Partner! (From the Movie ‘Titanic’)

-          Let your artistic side be known and let your fingers do the magic and touch your partner’s heart. It is so simple but once you’ve done it, it becomes extraordinary. Why? It’s because you draw the most beautiful piece you have. It is the eyes that catch your partner’s soul. You captivated their hearts. And once it is already done, you both look at it and there’s nothing sexier than that.

4.       Do the signature move! (From the Movie ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘Crazy, Stupid Love’)

-          Just imagine the signature move that Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze did along with the song ‘Time of my Life’, there’s nothing to compare on and it has the most magical moment once the lifting portion is shown. You can do it also, just what Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone did, and part of a challenge for them at first, but the move was also a sign of hotness. Both of you can enjoy this and to tell you, it’s the girl that’ll fly and soar high.

5.       A photography studio (From the Movie ‘A crazy thing called love’)

-          Simple as by doing capturing your partner’s lovely face and keeping his/her smiles and memories. It is by letting your partner knows that you adore them and more than anything else it is by saying they captured your heart just before the camera shots.

6.       Giving a CD Tape/Mix Tape (From the Movie ‘Perks of being a wallflower)

-          It’s like, letting her/him enter another part of your world it is because you let him/her know more about you. You taught your partner how to know you well and part of that is by giving him the tape you listen to and mostly the song you dedicate for him/her. There’s nothing sweeter than that, because just imagine you listen both to the kind of song that your hearts will always remember.

7.       Showing him/her the stars (From the Movie ‘A walk to Remember’)

-          Well not literally speaking, but of course you can show the stars for the love of your life, but most importantly it is by showing him/her the sparks and the light that these stars can give. I bet you get it right?

8.       Build your Dream… House? (From the Movie ‘The Notebook’)

-          If you’re man and you want to give the best for your girl, then the dream house is a good catch. But more of that, it is by building the dreams you both have, either abstract or concrete. 

9.       Take a motor ride after prom (From the Movie ‘The Prom’)

-          After the dancing and all in prom, why not bring your girlfriend into a night ride with your best buddy? Your motor of course not the car, because believe me, your motor is way hotter than your car by that night. Do it while having the song of Shout out Loud’s ‘Impossible’ then after that you’ll have the best prom ever.

10.       Sing to her the Bon Jovi Song (From the Movie ‘A lot like Love’)

-          Dude, it’s your best chance, sing ‘I’ll be there for you’ in your sweetest voice and bring your best guitar. Knock and surprise your baby with this kind of hot love song that for sure will melt her heart. Remember that Bon Jovi never gets out of line. He always rock.

Do gals are the only one who believes in ‘Forever?’, ‘In happy ending?’, ‘True Love’, ‘Sparks’ and ‘Endless Love’? What about the dudes? Of course they do. Some of you won’t believe that or maybe you’ll just shake your head and disapproves. But to tell you the truth, SOME GUYS do believe in those things, that’s when they finally meet the RIGHT GIRL for them. And we don’t know about that, to tell you honestly, but maybe what are the things that could possibly lead you to believing that this guy has forever in his heart?

1.       When He thinks of you mostly. He starts the day thinking of you and end the day still thinking of you. It may be physically, or by texting or calling, but the great part ladies, is that your face is in his head. And it’s a nice point for you girls, because he’s crazy about you. Something might give him a hint that your personality is extraordinary.

2.       Even little things you did matters to him. Yup! No big surprises, even the little ones can get him into sparks fly. Men do appreciate that especially when it comes to their love ones. You may think it’s nothing but for them it’s the whole world to them and once it hit them so much there’s no turning back girls.

3.       He truly cares for you. He minds you a lot. Care what you’re doing; what you’ve been up to, he cares if you’ve eaten the lunch or dinner. He do all the caring because he’s treating you like a princess.

4.       Your imperfections are the perfect ones for him. It may sounds so cheesy but it does girls. Because he doesn’t see that in a bad way, he sees that as you, being true to yourself and therefore he loves it more.

5.       You laugh at crazy things and mostly only the two of you can only understand about it. That’s the thing about connections. You have a special wire that connects you and him. A simple look may mean something and you’ll get it in just a snap it’s because you understand him. That simple joke will make you the both of you laugh hard and will make even more funny when time comes.

6.       There’s no dull time. He doesn’t mind if you’re not doing interesting or something. Sometimes, man has a full time potential of by just looking at your beautiful face.

7.       He wants you to be there in his special occasions. He wants you to be there to witness his success, his triumphs because It means that you are part of it and he wants to show you that this man is more than anything else to prove to you that his good enough and man-up.

8.       He wants you to be there even in the saddest moment of his life. Well, true enough maybe he doesn’t tell you this, but girls it is important for a man to know that you’re there to listen. LISTENING is enough, enough talking so much I will only irritate them.

9.       He doesn’t laugh about your insecurities. He didn’t make it so hard to be an issue but instead he listens and tries to be a friend in your most ‘girly’ times.

Well honestly, there are more of that. We can’t measure how a Man loves his Woman, but whatever it is when the time is actually right and the moment is all set and done. He’ll just know that you’re the ones for him.
